ProPresentner Description

1. We’re looking for dependable volunteers to help run ProPresenter 7 during our services and events. This role is key in making sure lyrics, videos, slides, and other media are displayed on screen at the right times. People are always relying on the screen for lyrics and verse. Our job is to make that seamless for them. If we are choppy, we seem unprepared.
2. Responsibilities
   • Operate the ProPresenter 7 computer during services or events.
   • Display song lyrics, Bible verses, videos, and slides as needed.
   • Follow cues from the worship leader or service schedule.
   • Set up or review presentations before the service begins.
   • Assist with simple troubleshooting if needed (training provided).

 

Pro Presenter Checklist

1. Check all songs making sure appropriate ones are added
2. Go through each song making sure no slides are bigger than 3 lines
3. Check email for new slides/delete old slides if necessary
4. To be attentive during worship making sure the slides are correct
5. To be attentive during announcements/offering, so we can have the correct slide/scripture up
6. During the message be quick with the scriptures, if you can't keep up, clear the screen

 

People rely on the screen being correct. This job is very important because if we are off, people will disconnect. It is important to be here for worship practice to run through the songs with the team. Checking for spelling errors or bad slide breaks. This may be the simplest position to run, but that doesn't mean it has no value. Being on point with the slide and scriptures shows attentiveness. As in all of our jobs, there is no time to zone out and stop paying attention.
